Natural form Final piece

For part of my natural forms project I created a wire structure of a flower out of different types of wire, the style of my piece was taken from the colour scheme from Sabrina Ward-Harrisons sketchbook work.I created the petals using tissue papr and PVA clue and water colour.

This is my final piece for my natural forms project that I completed in the first year of college, this painting is based on different natural forms from the forest, like leaves, flowers and different textures. I used acrylic paint, tissue paper and collage to create this painting and to create appropriate textures.

Project Manchester with triptych outcome

This image is taken from a page in my sketchbook from my Manchester project, I looked into various artist such as Rachel Whiteread.

This is a small wire art piece I created in the style of Helana Sharply, I enjoy working with wire, and have created a number of peices during my time at college .
This is one of my final pieces for my Manchester project that I produced by creating my own paper and making three individual pieces, each portraying a different part of the city, I worked into the hand made paper with hand stitch and machine stitch, fabric and paint.

Armour and Adornment

In this project, I looked into the shape and structure of bugs, I created drawing and painting of close ups of the creatures using different medias such as stick and ink, the image above shows a stick and ink piece with white acrylic paint of a large beetle.

My objective  for the end of this project was to produce a body adornment based on the patterns and shape of creatures such as bugs, butterflys or birds. Before making my final piece I took part in a fabric manipulation workshop, that helped me develop skills and ideas for the production of my final piece.

The image above shows some flat drawings of ideas for my final piece for this specific project.
